WELCOME
Valley Poker Assoc. is a local “face to face” No Limit Texas Holdem Poker Points Free League that is based in Chelmsford Massachusetts. Play is offered four nights per week, Sunday at 6:00pm, Monday through Wednesday at 7:15pm.

Games are currently being held at 67 Parkhurst Rd, Chelmsford Ma.

Generally speaking, our nightly tournament concludes between 10 and 11pm.

Currently, “Reflections Lounge” and also “Country Club USA” both of Chelmsford Massachusetts are sponsoring this league. As such, all they require is that customers purchase the nightly hot food buffet for $15 dollars and in return they will allow the same customers the option of playing Texas Holdem in their respective establishment at no charge while enjoying some great tasting food.

This league is open for all to play, but you must first register which is extremely easy, just stop by any night, Sunday through Wednesday before the game starts.

If all you want to do is watch, that’s fine too, please stop by.

There is no required level of skill to play, and we will be happy to show you how to play and have fun at the same time. Please remember that in the beginning, none of us knew how to play this exciting and fascinating game, but after a little time at the tables, we all learned.
All ages (minimum 21) and skill levels are encouraged to join.

The ultimate goal of any player is to advance by winning or by being a top finalist in the Nightly Tournaments through the Monthly Tournaments, Quarterly Tournaments and finally winning the prestigious semi-annual VPA “Main Event”.

Haven’t won an event? Don’t worry! You still have a chance of earning a seat in the VPA “Main Event” by playing in the various tournaments and accumulating points as a result of where you place each night.

Winning the VPA “Main Event” provides you with a free seat to one of the upcoming Foxwoods WPT Act III tournaments, along with a complimentary nights stay at one of their area hotels. This is a $1500 dollar value! If by chance you finish 2nd don’t fret, you also win a WPT Act III seat, but no hotel stay, still a $1100 value.

A WPT Act III Tournament, is simply a tournament where for every 10 players entered, one out of every 10 gets a free entry into the WPT Main Event where Millions of Dollars can be won!

The VPA Nightly, Monthly and Quarterly tournaments offer various house gifts for the winners such as Theater passes, Bowling passes and free Pool Time certificates as well as tournament advancement. Also, ask about our ever changing promotion package.

Please understand, this is a points and winners only Texas Holdem League, and there is no money wagering of any kind.


HISTORY
Less than one year ago, a small group of dedicated poker players wanted to start their own Free Texas Holdem Poker League right here in the Greater Lowell Massachusetts area. One of the players, Mr. Dave Cunha offered his assistance in any way he could. What we didn’t expect, was how Dave jumped to the point position and invested his own time and money into new equipment, such as tables, chairs, chips, cards, website (valleypokerassoc.com) and a new transport truck to allow us to bring this league into other establishments.

Additionally as the owner of two local entertainment establishments, he offered their locations as stepping-stones to get this new league off the ground. He calculated that if he offered a required $15-dollar food buffet in order to play, the player volume would cover his food and associated costs.

Dave decided to name our league Valley Poker Assoc. since it’s based in the Greater Lowell Merrimack Valley. He then began planning a structure that would provide a night of fun for all, by meeting and playing cards with other fellow poker connoisseurs who share our love of the very successful sport of No Limit Texas Holdem.
